There was additional good news from the semiconductor sector as TriQuint Semiconductor (TQNT 19.34 +0.78), in its mid-quarter update, affirmed its revenue estimate of $80 mln and boosted its EPS guidance to $0.04 from $0.03, citing slight margin improvement.
