I heard another great idea....For bidding for 2012 Olympics, all other cities (for U.S. bid) should drop out (Washington and New York are among the 10), and let a joint Washington/New York win the U.S. bid. The mayor of Rome already said they would drop out (if Washington/New York bids) and urge other cities to support the Washington/New York bid...

Washington/New York would most definently get the Olympics for 2012....what a nice boost for those cities...

The lighting of the flame should occur on the WTC site in 2012...
