No way Jose! The global financial and economic situation is totally different today. The late 1998 drop was a sevre but brief panic: this is a major bear market. And the world is headed for a severe recession, while the sense of US invulnerability has been shattered forever. Not to mention that US stock market valuations remain extremely high compared with historic norms. A 300-400 point NAZ bounce is the most we can expect under current circumstances IMHO.
