Pick a bomb, any bomb.... And we can go from there... fas.org Btw, the actual cost of the bomb is minimal.. The money is in the "seekers" that home in on the target being painted by the laser. The seekers are a separate package that is attached to the "iron bomb" before the mission. The guided bombs manufacturer to watch out for is Boeing.. They manufacture the JDAMS, a GPS guided bomb, which has none of the LOS (line of sight) weaknesses of laser guided munitions. And at $21,000 per tailkit, rather inexpensive and VERY cost effective. af.mil These are the same bombs there were targeted (mistakenly??)against that military communications station masquerading as the Chinese embassy in Belgrade.
