Seems like I have a lot to learn about Ethiopia. I didn't know that there was such a high percentage of Muslims there.

I met a nice old Estonian man in downtown Canberra today
A few years back I was in hospital for a minor surgery. For a few nights there was a very pretty and pleasant nurse attending to me, kind of like from a Beach Boys' song. Anyway one night I related to her the problems a technician had had taking a blood sample from me (Hard to find veins :o). Her first reaction was to say Don't let one of those '3' eyes touch you which because it was so far out from left field took me quite by surprise. I told her that the first tech who had the problem was in fact white woman who in turn referred me to someone whom she said was better qualified. Well, the better qualified tech was a very professional looking and also pleasant Indian woman who took the sample painlessly. In the next bed (semi-private room) was and Indian man with whom I spoke at length over a couple of days. On one day a black orderly entered the room and Mr. Patel, instantly was quiet. When the orderly left he simply said to me,' I hate those blacks'.

My point is this stuff happens regardless of religion. Any idea fomented in the minds of men no matter how noble can be twisted an perverted. It's in our nature :o(
