One thing I can't figure out? Where is all the money the Fed is pumping in going? The bank sure isn't lending it out? Investors aren't investing it? Where is it going? Under mattresses?

Cap Gains cut is a stupid idea right now. Maybe they could better serve the consumer by allowing you to carry losses Backwards for a refund. Rather than the carryfoward to future gains, or the $3000 limit if no gains.

All this corporate welfare talk is disturbing. Granted the airlines are in bad shape, but maybe the airlines need to cut executive salary and option grants first. Freeing up many tens of millions in cash flow right there.

How about a CLEC bailout too? They've been damaged by the economy.
