LOL. I've got a problem with that too. Look, I believe in God. I also believe in the separation of church and state. I am taking great comfort in my faith and my local congregation these days. However, I do not believe that "God is on our side" is helpful in times of war. It is, IMO, the basis for much self-righteous horror inflicted on people over the years.
