WRT obfuscation, here's what the OED says:

1. Dim (the sight); obscure, confuse (the understanding, judgement, etc.), stupefy, bewilder.
2. Make obscure or confused: deprive of clarity or impact.

It is unclear to me that the OED considers obfuscation to be intentional.

I don't disagree with your points in the post to which I am responding, but I found your earlier responses frustrating and obfuscatory. My opinion.
