A great aircraft that flies cheap but has great range on it is the Pilatus PC-12.. They are a bit more expensive than jet's new but they have a longer range than most executive jets and I was told it fly's for under $300 an hour. Way way cheaper than a gas guzzling jet and almost affordable.

You know you can pick up a hawker jet for about $500k to $600 in good condition. I was surprised because it's hard to find a twin turbo prop cheaper than $1M that won't even have the speed, range, or cargo capacity of the Hawker.
