Here we have POS at 4.50 and POG at 290, prices that add considerably to mining economics and we are seeing the classic Mexican gold/silver or silver/gold plays like MFL, BAY, NGT, FGX and the one you mentioned GNG just sitting there, a few at prices BELOW the recent lift off. Very tiresome for everybody I'm sure. And it's not just those poly plays, pretty much across the board. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why. I do note that volume is picking up so stock is being moved. But I just bought more BAY at 1.32, and wonder who would be selling this at that price? Who are the sellers and where are the buyers (broke I guess)? Theories:

1. Being thrown out via general margin liquidation as part of the massive disgorgement of speculator stock problems in other sectors?

2. Unknown plays? Maybe be a little of that, but surely these names are on the broker buy lists and get mentioned? On the other hand this so called "acclaimed" thread here is quieter than ever, with many active contributors no where to been seen. I guess everyone is shell shocked by events? So am I honestly, as we just got word last night that 30,000 Boeing workers are being laid off in the Puget Sound region. Given the bubble that's been going on here, that's going to be crippling. But it shouldn't be a surprise to most of us on these threads and surely one doesn't just fold his tent?

If so, I'm going to be honest with you guys. If there is no more interest than this at this amazing juncture, I'm going to pack it up as far as future participation here, and try to locate other venues (really none yet that I can locate)for communicating ideas in the sector.

3. Short selling pressure into them?

Any ideas? Sure not fundamentals with the kind of leverage built into these names. The solution: one of these companies needs to achieve the "private market value" (sell out)likely at about four or five times these prices. That will wake everybody up.
