Good morning, Kastel. A few comments are in order. I just got a PM from Jay and it made me sadly aware
of his immense value to what he referred to as "Our beloved thread." And he is absolutely right in my opinion.
First for the morning I want to apologize to the thread for any heartfelt comments, personal passions for political actions, etc., not because I recant them but because they really in retrospect have no place here. Second, and forever hereafter I exercise the privilege (thank you SI) of putting LLCF on ignore. He is a Luddite who "doesn't believe in drugs." That nonsense is something I just do not need to waste my time on, being a physician for 30 years now and having a firmly held opinion that such a statement is more a religious rant than anything else. His right to say unquestioned, just as Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson were yesterday and remain free today to utter their nonsense. I have come to the realization that those kind of comments really are not pertinent here. So this morning I will follow my esteemed friend Jay in going into lurking mode, awaiting with patience for the day when this tattered thread returns to some semblance of its original intent, that being how to SURVIVE this dangerous environment. I pray it is not a re-entry into the Dark Ages and will from time possibly PM my friends on this thread.
And I grin broadly as I exercise my privilege of putting LLCF on ignore so I do not waste my time looking or skipping his stuff as I lurk. Good luck everyone. It looks like we are going to need it.
