WARNING - WARNING

dailynews.yahoo.com

"The Nimda worm spreads by sending infected e-mails that carry an attachment labeled ``readme.exe.'' It also propagates by infiltrating unsecured Web sites and attaching itself to an unsuspecting computer user's Web browser, IT officials said.

Its target is personal computers and Microsoft computer servers,"

I have a business associate that was infected yesterday at 6:15 am. No one was in his office. His server was connected to a dsl through SpeakEasy, his isp.

No email or surfing caused this. When contacted, SpeakEasy advised that the infection can come in through any open port.

This is NOT what's being reported.

There is no fix yet.
