Heh there KastelCo

You maybe right.

There are only about 20,000 Tabels who are in crushing the Afghanistans. These guys got in basicaly because the Americans kinda stepped back after the Russians got stomped on by the Afghanistans. Lots of promises left unfofilled. Many Afghanistans felt betrayed by this.
The problem is unstability leaves the door open for the nut cases to step in. Once in , their propoganada machines get to work and anyone who represents any kind of threat gets murdered.

Small arms for people fighting for their lives doesnot strike me as out of line.

The Taleban control the news in Afghanistan, Bin Laden along with them. Popping a satelite above Afghanistan and downloading CBC radio, BBC , and whatever else including TV (gilligans island , Saturday Night Live , The muppets and others ) would do more to shake up the Talebans than bombing them will ever do.

At least it would not hurt the good people.
