also, even if arafat wanted peace now for first time, there are many arabs and palestinians who don't-many indoctrinated by arafat. terrorists,not just arab terrorists, have been repeatedly rewarded by u.s.- and given nobel peace prizes, made leaders, and negotiated with, and invited to white house and put at head of parades.
the new year isn't so new.
