Afghanistan asks CNN to leave Wednesday September 19, 4:01 PM KABUL (Reuters) - Afghanistan's ruling Taliban has asked CNN to leave the country, the U.S. television news channel said on Wednesday. Nic Robertson, reporting from the Taliban headquarters of Kandahar, is one of the last remaining western journalists in Afghanistan which is braced for possible strikes from the United States after last week's attacks on New York and Washington. The station said it was petitioning the Taliban for permission to stay. Most Westerners have already left Afghanistan, which Saudi-born Osama bin Laden, prime suspect in last Tuesday's attacks and wanted "dead or alive" by President George W.
