sonny, i bot qqq, and aol today. Most stks r @ oct 98, TWX chart needs to be examined to see where it was in oct 98 and then translate to aol price. I did that. We have just a very small down turn left in aol. Aol, will not goto oct 98 price as one needs to look at aol/twx combo. Fundamentals for AOL are fantasic. Aol is a lot cheaper then DIS, AMR etc which have been beaten very badly in last few days...
________------ some comments on aol here..........
Bear Stearns reiterates BUY. Relative to other entertainment companies, AOL has low exposure to advertising, which accounts for about 25% of its total revenues. More importantly, AOL's exposure to traditional advertising (television, radio, newspapers, magazines) is roughly 19%. On the flip side, AOL Time Warner has high relative exposure to subscription revenues, at 42%. This revenue stream should provide a high level of stability over the next twelve to 18 months.
