Robert; I'm not new to options at all, I'v lost a ton of money
learning them, "ALL" new people to options will lose money before
they turn around good. They get lucky a time or two..then wham
they get toasted. Here is a fact 80% of all option players lose
moneny..it's tougher than it looks. Sure the July puts look
tempting, and you "may" do good, but like I told chen, you should
have bought then JUNE the 17th, not now. Every one who has already
bought has them cheaper than you can get them, so not only can they
make more than you..they will all sell before you do if she only
moves a point or two, your stuck..untill they come into the
money "you got to have buyers" do you know were more buyers are
going to come from ? 55s at 1-1/2 ( plus the commission in and
one out if you get to sell ) means she has to fall to 53-1/2
if you don't have more buyers in order for you to break even.
I'm not saying they won't pay..but I'm about as pro as they come
and play as many puts as any one on AOL..and I missed the Julys
and I will not chase them..it's a suckers bet to chase puts or
calls..they must come to you, & you must be in under the majority
of the other put buyers, or pass and wait for a better deal, or
you may not have any money left to bet with when they do get
right. Jan is the best options right at this time.
