Art, I kinda have trouble agreeing with your comment that SOME people in Middle East favor Afghanistan. In most Middle Eastern countries, the govt or the rulers, as the case may be, and a few educated Moslem, probably realise the situation. But as far as Moslem brotherhood goes, a very miniscule minority will favor their country waging war against a 'brother Moslem' country....its just the way it is with them... It holds for Pakistan as well...and though Middle East is more contained in their actions when public opinions diverge from the opinion of their leaders, Pakistan will not be so contained.......it will lead to a lot of bloodshed there...
