This is a very complicated subject. Should a Christian take part in a war? What if the leader ordering the war is unjust and evil -- do you follow the Biblical teachings that say to obey authority? What if the war is to stop obvious atrocities being committed against innocent people? What if by NOT taking part, you allow many lives of unbelievers to go to an eternity without God that perhaps with time and influence could have been saved? The flip side is that brutal "just wars" have been waged in the name of God for nationalist expediency and political interest. However, if America had never fought a war, certainly many millions of people who have heard the gospel because of America would never have.

I conclude that this is a very difficult topic.
