Hi Art; <OT> My brother has a degree in Political Science and he won't talk politics with me :-)
I guess I'm too radical . I'm not an expert on anything in this area but my thoughts for years
on taxes have been more around what Wall Street don't want.
Wall street has the largest and most well healed Lobby there is Washington so I guess
there is little chance I will ever see things move towards my ideas.

I had the idea of a international TOBIN tax years before Tobin did..( tax on big money swaps )
half of the tax going to the Country whose currency is being sold, the other half going
to fund the IMF ( instead of it being subsidized by the tax on working stiffs )
A tobin tax would smooth out the wild gyration in the currency markets,
but wall street is hard against it.

As for Charity ( too many shell charity organizations to suit me many of them set up by
crooks and even terrorist I'm sure not for giving the more powerful people ( rich ) the
option to fund their pet ideology at a discount to the little guy )
Deductions there just help set up a hedgmonic system that subverts democracy
and the vote.
My brother thinks my ideas along those lines are too extreme.
