Agreed, that is likely so. But, the question remains, when will this happen? If the "antidote" takes 12 months to have noticable effect what will the markets do between now and then?

I've thought for the past 12 months that no rally is sustainable without supporting evidence of a real economic turnaround. Prior to WTC we might have been within 3-6 months of such evidence. I think that now it is at least 12 months or more away.

If liquidity and stimulus were simple and automatic mechanisms Japan's economy would have emerged from its dismal state long ago.
