I may never be back into equities in a big way. I am so old-fashioned that I would not start buying until the P/E on the Dow or S&P got back to 10 or below. With falling earnings, I hate to calculate what that might mean.

But if that does happen, I will be buying the old closed-end funds at a discount.

Sure wish I had held my LEAP puts on the Dow longer. But we'll see. Maybe I might get a second chance to put them back in if the Dow climbs back to 9500. That, too, could happen.
