What do you think about selling puts on LEAPS? I was thinking of something like JNPR JAN 7 04, they are paying like $2.40. I figure the odds of us still being in this economic doldrums more than 2 years from now is low and since I feel that Juniper is a good company long term I wouldn't mind owning it for an adjusted price of about $5.

Why don't people sell puts far out like that? As we drop further we are getting closer to a bottom, it would appear that the risk of getting assigned is low. And like I said, earlier, if I do get assigned, I wouldn't mind.

Sorry about asking this question again. I posted this thought earlier, but nobody had anything to say about it.
