I agree with your point of view.

Personally, I expect that this time it will be no different and that stock prices will eventually fall to those levels, or perhaps even lower (given the market's propensity to "overshoot"). Hopefully, we will all be there with plenty of "dry powder" and the guts to buy when the whole world hates the very word "stock". It will likely be as psychologically difficult for us to buy at that point as it was to short stocks at the height of the mania.
