AS THE old saying goes...
IF NOT ME, THEN WHO? IF NOT NOW,THEN WHEN?
I have convicted myself by my own postings. I have posted this many times:
2 Chronicles 7:14--If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
I have posted it to many and intended it to be read by many more. I was not reading it myself. I was not humble, I did not pray, I was not seeking, I did not repent of my wicked ways, I could not hear, I did not forgive...why should I have suspected that God would heal?
FOR THE FOUL LANGUAGE I HAVE USED ON THIS BOARD, FORGIVE ME. FOR THE FOUL ATTITUDE I HAVE USED HERE, FORGIVE ME. FOR THE LACK OF CARE FOR MANKIND I HAVE EXHIBITED HERE, FORGIVE ME. FOR THE CARELESS JUDGEMENTS I HAVE MADE, FORGIVE ME.
for those that have ears, let them hear.
I still believe, even moreso, in my God and will support what I believe to be right. Paul, in speaking of his "rights" says this as recorded in the 2nd Corinthian letter
2 Corinthians 2:14- 17
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.
there may be times some will hate me or my message, but I pray it will not because of my tongue, or my own judgments. A general post like this is all I can do to attempt to "turn back".
