Albert,

It is easy to understand the lack of demand for Pentiums when
MMX is being touted as the current standard. I expect that INTC will have to eat some pentium inventory this quarter and perhaps next.

Evidence of lack of demand for the PII is sketchy at best.
Perhaps in the home and retail markets where GTW lives this is so.
Reports from IBM and the resellers like Vanstar and Microage
indicate strong sales. Also CPQ and DELL have not complained about lack of demand. 1 month is not much time to make an impression in the home or retail market that GTW addresses. So, I need to see more evidence to support the Salomon claim.
