Did the destroyers-for-bases deal with Britain before US entry count for nothing? Do you think Churchill made that dealt to help the US economy? Did US escorting of British ships carrying war materiels mean nothing? And sinking German subs (an act of war by itself, which undoubtedly contributed to Hitler's declaration of war on the US after Pearl Harbor) before US entry do nothing?

You could look through the history of WWII and come up with a number of instances from small to large that would have turned the war the other way.
And you can find just as many and more instances where US involvement- -even before US entry- -made the difference. As Roosevelt put it, we were the arsenal of democracy.

And lend lease? I tried to argue a while back that US aid to Russia did not save them; I lost the argument rather decisively. There is a very good case that US aid kept both Russia and the unsinkable aircraft carrier in the war.
Without US involvement, even assuming no German invasion of Britain, what chance would Britain have had of retaking continental Europe from the Nazis?

The Battle of Midway could have easily gone the other way if we didn't have the broken Japanese ciphers.
Why do you cite this? This was strictly a US accomplishment- -some second-story work aided by brains.

The easy solution is to put together a bunch of neutron bombs, high dose, short half-life, low blast effects and dose Afghanistan into oblivian
Excellent idea! :-)
Could we claim we didn't nuke them and that they died of epidemic? There are so many liberals who get upset at even the thought of a nuke.
