MG, You mean we are not in Kansas any more? Sorry for the attempt at futile humor, but it's the only way I can deal with it. At the end of the charade on capital hill today, one of the senators indicated that he had received an e-mail from UTX indicating that they had been notified by their insurance carrier on their leased planes that the insurance was being terminated. Further, they indicated that they would have no choice other than to advise the airlines to whom these planes were leased to put them on the ground. The collateral damage just keeps adding up. I was talking with TM a couple of days ago and indicated that the B&H types that had $500K in their retirement plan at 12/31/99 invested in FMAGX, now only have about $350K. This decline could yield the end of a lot of dreams. Yes, I believe in our country and in our Markets, but it is going to take a 50% increase just for them to get back to where they were. No doubt the reason that they are rolling out Peter Lynch at 5:00 this afternoon for a town meeting. As to your good fortune to have been in cash, I'll note that great line in Jeremiah Johnson where the old mountain man says to Redford: Pilgrim, you've done well to keep your scalp.
