Friday's press release indicates that they are well on the way to meeting their manufacturing projections. With 58 units sold (~$2.3MM / $39,595), they have already sold 14.5% of their expected output for fiscal 1998 (which still has more than 9 months left in it). Friday's press release also discusses their efforts to ramp production to 100 units a months by the end of calendar 1997, so that they can come closer to satisfying the demand they forsee.

I think it is important to realize that although the demand for a new product is notoriously hard to forecast (didn't Iomega only expect to sell 100,000 Zip drives in their first year of production?), this company will see dramatically higher revenue growth this year even if they sell only 400 units. And again, remember that this is not a one-product company. With 58 units sold within the first 6 1/2 weeks after FDA approval, 400 by the end of March 1998 looks pretty easy to me.
