If one buys 6% of a particular piece of property and someone else who is not the owner of that property gives you the remainder of that property, and forces the true owner of that property off their land, is that a legitimate sale?

Some would embellish the truth by saying that the folks who "bought" the land will not tell you they did not buy anywhere near 100%of the property, but took it under a land grab program sponsored by a "foreign" governmental power.
