HOW TO WRITE COVERED CALLS - A REAL CASE STUDY!
==================================================================

Date: Sunday, June 22, 1997

The Investor's Business Daily (IBD) post the stocks with the largest short positions every week. That means that investors are shorting the stock and they are betting that the price will go down. Now, when investors go to extreames eventually they are usually proven wrong by the stock market. Here are some stocks that warrant close attention since they are stocks with the largest percentage of their floating supply sold short. At some point, if the stock price goes up a major short squeeze will take over and the BULL WILL RUN OVER ANYONE IN THE WAY! Meaning? The price of the stock will zooommmmmmmmm up in no time flat! Also included is the number of days of average volume in each stock it would take to "cover" the short position. It could be your next big kahunas!

Big Short Position That Look Good!

Name Volume Short % of Float Days to Trade

1. RMI Titanium (RTI) 2.8 million 56% 28 days

Zack's Research rates RTI as a moderate buy! PE is around 13 and the next earnings report is July 15, 1997. Selling price is around $25 per share. Trades options!

2. PHP Healthcare (PPH) 2.7 million 37% 25 days

Zack's Research rates PPH as a hold. PE is around 29 and the next earnings report is July 11, 1997. Trades options! What really caught my eye on this stock was the chart. The price triangle is getting narrower and narrower in a sideways movement for a long time. Just like JMED two months ago when the stock was in the low 20's and today is at $43. BAMMMMMM up spurt!
