This is all nonsense, with no end. I have been saying all along that the situation in 1520 is not comparable to 2001.
And the World is not the same, either. Duh!

What we have is a community of nations - a United Nations (yuk, yuk) - who all agree on the rules of international law. Even Iran, in 1979, generally followed these rules.

When those laws are broken, punishment occurs.

I learned this in kindergarten.

Israel was established under the rule of international law.

I don't really think there is much more to be said.
