That is the problem -- God should be here now telling us what we should do and not having us stand around arguing about His will. See, they way God has left it, there is no God without people espousing it, really. Way too much subtlety from the Big Guy, if you ask me. A personal God is fine. Most of us have some higher spiritual understanding of how things work. The institutionalization of same is where the problems come from.
