As for tourism, travel and leisure, a hit in this area by itself before any multiplier effect will kick the crap out of the labor market. All of the companies in that sector will lay people off immediately rather than in six months as is so common when corporate layoffs are announced and these companies will also cut capital expenditures -- they are big users of technology of all kinds. When you post something -- like challenging the idea that we are headed for 7 percent unemployment -- you might want to at least pause before saying something, especially if you know nothing about the subject -- my good man.
