You don't think we should become a better society? I think this is where we started: God permits evil in the world, and it strikes both the just and the unjust. However, when we call upon Him for aid, it is wise to renounce our sins, insofar as possible, not only as individuals, but as a society. I fail to see that disagreeing with the methodology indicated above means I "don't think we should become a better society." The Taleban claims to seek a better society by becoming closer to God. Can you see the problem now? Or that we cannot become a better society without theocracy? I never said that. Although this whole discussion leaves open the question of what a "better society" would be. Message 16380378 "Whatever is not resolved now will be after your dead. When neither you nor anyone alive can prove it was not." How very convenient. Tell me: Do you actually believe you could prove or even establish to a good degree of certainty ANY of the claims made in that post?
