There is no problem, since sin encompasses all sorts of moral evils, and one is asking for personal reform primarily.

Of course, you didn't not say that we had to become a theocracy to be better. I am merely pointing out there is no connection.

What you note is a matter of rational belief. As Kant pointed out, we believe in God because morality is not vindicated in this life, and our sense of justice requires that justice, at some point, be satisfied.

I think that some things can be argued to a fair degree of probability, and the rest is a pretty good extrapolation........
