There is no one on the "left" who doesn't want all these murderers decimated and put out of business....
however the quick temper and short fuse of the right has continued to gallivant about proclaiming that we don't need any of those stupid EUROPEANS either! And since this administration has taken it upon itself to diss every free nation in europe over the last 9 months....it's just another irony that they now need them to participate in this effort.
An effort to which we have NO experience and one to which they have been victims for the past TWENTY YEARS!
And to expect that nations like France are willing to go willy nilly into a bombing spree of arab nations who have sever problems with militant and crazed fundamentalists just across the Mediteranian is foolish. This administration MUST show that they have an effective plan....no matter HOW LONG it takes to EFFECTIVELY destroy them....to get the other EXPERIENCED Euro nations on board. And that goes DOUBLE for the arabic nations that Bush needs to make the alliance work. the reactionaries who must have CNN kind of INSTANT GRATIFICATION of military action ( no matter how destructive and contrary the action might be to actual world stability) must wait out some time to insure that WHAT we do is EFFECTIVE. not DESTRUCTIVE.
