Haim, i wonder if the military strike will result in a similar reaction this time as on the occasion of the gulf war. i rather doubt it, frankly. why? because of the different quality of the confrontations. showing the world that the allied air power was indeed superior to anything Iraq could cobble together in its defense was like saying "we've won already...the danger to oil supplies is over".

THIS time, the strikes could be like saying: "who knows...it may become a never-ending quagmire...the danger to oil supplies may be only just beginning".
