Certainly there cannot be a conservative on this thread who is still under the illusion that they can "unite" with the American left for the fight against world terrorism. That was the BS so many of them tried to spew last week.

Hopefully they have learned their lesson by this week. The American left has not refrained from stabbing this country in the back, they are simply looking for a new angle of penetration. Any crusade, war, struggle, etc. against the terrorists of September 11 can never be successful if the main enemy is not first driven completely from their position of influence in Washington. The threat to the US is primarily an INTERNAL one, represented by these arrogant Stalinists. They must be defeated first, if the terrorist enemy is to be faced effectively...
