Tommaso & KB, I'm going to have to weigh in on the side of the VIX. It has served me extremely well over the last year, selling short when it gets too low and covering when it pops. For a short term tool I don't think it is worth that much, but for intermediate term I think it is great. The TRIN on the other hand has not worked well for those that wanted it to. I've gotten rid of virtually all my shorts now, and have cashed in on a large part of my gold stocks as well. I'm getting much less bearish, but not yet bullish. Waiting with large percentage cash for easier days. Sharp
