Harry, I think the mindset of the terrorists who plan crimes like the WTC attack or who instigate the suicide bombers's mission is very close to that of the typical military commander. You are welcome to see them as being different.

I'm glad Harry is welcome to see them as different, because that would probably mean I am welcome as well. I don't think the mindsets are similar. One is doing a job and he might dislike the enemy . The other has a seething hatred and thinks he is making himself in to a martyr.

If I remember correctly, we fired missiles on a Sudanese hospital a few years back. Granted the missile was a real missile and not a plane loaded with a lot of civilians.

It wasn't a hospital, I believe it was a factory that produces medicine. Still a bad thing but not as many people die. Also it was a mistake. You make it sound like we targeted a hospital.

I love this country but from what I have read and seen, we are not always saints.

Who said we are. We don't have to be saints for there to be an important moral distinction between our military actions and the attack on the WTC.

Tim

Edit -

We will make you into a GW fan yet.

When hell freezes over, Harry, when hell freezes over!

What do you think of his speech tonight?
