<< Now the NAACP is asking for reparations from actions done by people in the past for people who are not alive. >>

Reparations are absurd. But, if the NAACP continues on it's quest for reparations, they should ask for reparations from all of the African nations that were involved in slave trading, both past and present. Slave trading is still going on in Africa.

I find it interesting that some black leaders, who are supposedly, totally against slavery, eagerly visit Cuba and praise Castro, who ruthlessly keeps all his citizens as slaves. Sounds like a double standard to me.

But, we have many great American blacks in the military, in government, as police and firefighters, as teachers, etc. I would not be surprised if the NAACP drops it's quest for reparations while our country fights for it's very future existence.
