I don't see a radical fundamentalist regime in Iraq... and if one arose, it would be Shiite..


If Iraq split into three, there would be a Kurdistan in the north, a Sunni entity in the center, and a Shia entity in the south, which might be fundamentalist. This is a scenario that terrifies the Saudis, so they begged Bush to let Saddam off the hook in 1991.

Maybe they should install Tarik Azziz as Hussein's replacement... He's reportedly a "christian"...

Of course he's a Christian...the modern equivalent of using a eunuch for your vizier, you can trust him because he can't replace you.
