United We Stand, Divided We Fall!
How true are those words. Have we allowed our beloved country to become divided?
Has terrorism sent us a world chilling wake-up call? No civilized human being living
today can deny the fact that the attack on the WTC is the most tragic event we've ever
witnessed. We as a country have been knocked to our knees, the world has been shook
to their heels, but we will Stand again! America will rebound, rebuild and recover!
Yes, we will always remember this tragedy, we will always remember those who we have
lost, we will always remember those who risked and gave their lives in the rescue
attempt.
We have many Heros among us! We will see many more Heros arise in our future.
America will not allow terrorists or their supporters to hold us hostage. We will unite
to bring those responsible to justice.
This has been a devastating wake-up call, one that has caused us all to reflect on our
own lives and our country's. We can look back with 20-20 vision and see the mistakes
of our past, but will we correct them? We have seen the separation of Church and
State taken to the extreme extent the Founding Fathers never intended. We are founded
on the premise that we are "one nation under God". Have we forgotten? Have we
allowed this tragedy by being too tolerant? We now see that we cannot allow ourselves
to be complacent. We have looked the other way when we should have been involved.
Where do we go from here? What do we do to overcome terrorism? We Unite!
We open our eyes and get involved! We all need to do what we can to make this
a better world. United States, United people. We need to work together with our
fellow countrymen. We need to get to work. Teach our children, be volunteers,
be examples to the world. Show our American Spirit! We are a great nation, yet
we cannot stand still, we cannot be satisfied, we must always be moving forward!
Doing better, doing more, sharing, caring, giving back while we count our blessings.
The world is watching. We need to show them that we never give up, we never quit.
When we make mistakes we need to admit them and correct them. Yes, we have
made the mistake of taking prayer out of our schools. Why has the President,
Congress, state officials, local leaders & world leaders called for prayer? Who are
they praying to? The God of our Fathers. Let's correct the mistakes of our past
and get this country back on the right road to greatness. Let's all do our part.
Do your part, do your job like you are supposed to, don't be slack. Balance your
life. God, family, country, others & yourself.
