i have a compaq.....it's relatively old now.....22 months old....so everything for sale now at the price i paid is about twice as fast....my comment is on the support....i have had no trouble with it...any questions about the computer ...just call the 800 number ...everyone i ever talked to was very cordial an helpful....had one major problem an one minor problem....no arguments ..they took it back an repaired it...if you get the compaq i hope it goes as well for you....they are merging with HP,,,so how that will effect things i don't know...good luck
