Don't look at the charts before you are sitting or if you already have eaten something today. Take a day out. Philips of Netherlands has a second earnings warning: sees 18% less revenues in telecom and components. Netherland's (Amsterdam bourse) computer has been down 1 1/2 hour before options expiration on the DJ STOXX indexes. (Amsterdam was in the process of switching to the Euronext electronic system and equities quotations was kept on the old system with no maintainance). Anyway tech, media, telecom are down; some even 7-10%. Bourses have a bad morning, down 2 to 5% already. Spreading to futures, spoo lost 35pts at EWurope's open. Nasty more than 50pts. Have a nice week-end. I am going to install a Winter garden on my fence. A bit cold now to do nothing at the swimming pool. <ng>
