Daytona plumps up portfolio in Turkey acquisition Daytona Energy Corp DYT Shares issued 26,460,973 Sep 13 close $0.17 Fri 21 Sept 2001 News Release Dr. James Edwards reports Daytona Energy has acquired a 5-per-cent working interest in the Kandamis gas field production lease and five exploration licences in the Thrace basin (Marmara districts 1 and XVII) in the Republic of Turkey. This acquisition was pursuant to an option exercised on May 20, 2001, and previously reported in Stockwatch May 31, 2001. The 5-per-cent working interest in all tracts has been acquired from Wilco Turkey Limited for the consideration of 901,600 Daytona ordinary shares which has been approved by the Canadian Venture Exchange.
