We are soldiers all...

I was brought up well by fine parents who taught me the Christian ideals of to love my neighbor and to forgive those who trespass against me.

I am sorry, but those two ideals are at odds with one another right now. My neighbors were savagely attacked by faceless cowards and I cannot find forgiveness in my heart for the trespasses against us.

Our leaders say we are at war and our soldiers are mobilizing as we speak. But we are fighting this war on two fronts and we are all soldiers in it.

We are treating our wounded and we are mourning and burying our dead.

The military soldiers will take the battlefront to the shores of the enemy, half a world away and I have no doubt the enemy will be reduced to a smoldering rubble.

But terrorism wins the war if they can interrupt our lives, diminish our patriotism, divide us and disrupt our economy.

We soldiers have our own battle, right here at home. We must continue our lives, conduct our businesses, invest for our children’s futures, and.... be.....consumers, which drives the greatest economy in the history of the world.

By showing the terrorists their efforts were fruitless, we can win the war by destroying in them what they attempted to destroy in us...our hearts, our humanity and our unity.

God Bless America.
