Eric - we may be close, or we may not. I am looking closely at the lines in the sand right now and they are just that. Lines in the sand.

We need to see what Monday brings. And Tuesday and Wednesday too perhaps. We are inside the second margin-call cycle. Plus options expiration, plus massive funds flow. In this phase one should see value get hammered as it is liquid and holds value. So perversely it gets sold when there is an urgent need for cash.

What we are seeing looks ver much like cash demand. In this case, folks aren't likely to sell tech. With speculative stuff that's been hammered there tends to be a "oh well, it was my speculative bet anyway" rationalization.

Now, the question is whether or not folks will continue to hold these positions. Right now it appears that the answer is yes.

John.
