Right, it is ONE of the issues. Thanks to you and me flying discount airlines (aka competition) the honus is on the slim margins that these operators work off of, so of course they are going to fight it...wouldn't you? If we had border patrols that would detain most-wanted terrorists THIS tragedy would have never happened period. NOT a marshall in the air. What if this was done with rental cars? I would love to know what collars you would put on that industy! The point you are not getting is we need to tighten or national security. If it includes airline safety, great! But it starts at the starting point, not the ending. Thanks to Reaper(ever hear of anger management?) and his kind notes, I will leave this forum and its narrow vision. Sorry for intruding on this (sacred to yourselves) soil. John
